Doubts had been cast over the Barcelona legend's future in the football, after it was announced on Tuesday that his twilight run in Brazil and Mexico had ended abruptly via mutual termination.
But the former FIFA World Player of the Year will not hang up his boots yet and is looking for the right move to help him prolong his illustrious career.
When asked by Brazilian newspaper Folha De Sao Paulo if he was going to retire, Ronaldinho's older brother Roberto Assis, said: 'Are you crazy? No chance, you'll have more surprises yet.
'He has to be happy on the field and feel good about himself. He has an advantage over many others in that he has never suffered from a serious injury. And while he still has that flicker then great.'
Ronaldinho was untouchable at the peak of his powers at Barcelona, with magical performances and goals in games against Real Madrid and Chelsea forming some of the club's finest ever moments.
The former Milan and PSG forward was also a key player in Brazil's World Cup Winning side of 2002, dumping England out of the tournament with a free-kick that embarrassed David Seaman.
After leaving European football in 2011 Ronaldinho was prolific in spells at Flamengo and Atlético Mineiro in Brazil before playing for Querétaro in Mexico and finally Fluminense back in Brazil.
According to Folha De Sao Paulo one of the options for Ronaldinho's next move is a role at Corinthians in the USA, which his brother said was plausible.
'Yes it is, he has friends there. There are a lot of [other proposals] coming up,' said Assis.
The 35-year-old's agent said also backed up Fluminense's comments earlier in the week that the player's split with the club had been amicable.
It was a wonderful experience, the club did everything [to make it work], and the player too,' he said.
'Unfortunately things did not go the way that Ronaldinho wanted. It was a cool-headed decision. If it's not working it is best to stop.'
